Larry Lawrence Bio

I was introduced early in life to gospel and country music. My dad was always singing at home, at family members homes and in church. My grandfather always watched the Grand Old Opry on Saturday nights. My brother and I were always singing at church either by ourselves in front, or in the youth group choir. First instrument was the drums in elementary school in the 5th grade, and piano when I was a senior. I continued to play throughout high school and went on to pursue a music career at Western Kentucky. I was into the drum corp and marching band scene at that time and still love to watch to this day. I started playing drumset in 1987 when I got my first set (Can't beat those Pearls). In the mid to late 80's I got into the rock scene and was influenced by the hair bands of that era.
